Charles Horin

A Los Angeles native, Charles is a seasoned live and session musician. He began his musical career playing cello in his middle school orchestra, leading him to discover his passion for the bass guitar shortly thereafter. Quickly grasping the technicality of his instrument, he began playing in multiple bands at the age of 14, further developing his sense of musicality communicating with other musicians. He has gone on to perform at venues like the Troubadour, Fonda Theatre, Roxy, Viper Room, Sayers Club, Whisky A Go Go, and recently played on the soundtrack of Hollywood film “Chick Fight”. A proponent in the study of multiple genres, Charles believes variety is versatility, and versatility is success. His favorite genres include Alt. Rock, Hip Hop, Electronic, R&B, Metal, Soul, Psychedelic, and Funk. Charles currently plays in town regularly with his own rock band, Analog Party, and with Swedish singer Jennifer Ackerman in her band Final Child.
