Derrick Butler

Derrick is a pianist, organist, guitarist, and music producer born and raised in Los Angeles. He attended Tulane University in New Orleans to receive his bachelors of arts in music, and has gained a great deal of experience teaching and working within diverse spaces. Derrick taught and lived at the Community Music Center of Atlanta, where he was pushed to work with students of all ages and skill levels. In addition to teaching, Derrick plays professionally in Los Angeles and around the country with different artists. With years of experience in each instrument and medium, his passion shows through in every one of his creative endeavors.
